Off to ICRE we go! – and details on a free book on Educational Theory!

Most of our blog team is off to the International Conference on Residency Education (ICRE) this week, an annual conference hosted by the Royal College.  It is the world’s largest conference devoted exclusively to advancing residency education and welcomes thousands of delegates from all over the world. This year the ICRE celebrates 10 years with it’s “Leadership and Change in Residency Training: A Call to Action” theme and will  feature five plenaries, 19 learning tracks, more than 60 workshops and over 200 poster and paper presentations.  One of the events we are excited about is a LIVE version of the KeyLIME podcast (one of the co-hosts being our very own editor in chief!), which we post about regularly on our blog.

In addition: All attendees will receive a QR code to access the new (and FREE!) Education Theory Made Practical eBook!

ETMP-Shadow-342x400If you loved our Education Theory series, you won’t want to miss the first volume in the Education Theory Made Practical series (an ALiEM Faculty Incubator eBook Project). ALiEM sincerely feel that it will be useful for all the educators out there, wrestling with the issue of integrating theory into practice.

Won’t be making it to ICRE? Don’t worry! Head on over to ALiEM’s website for your free eBook: https://www.aliem.com/2017/08/education-theory-made-practical-volume-1/
